It took me a full year to get my first check with Google AdSense (I am getting monthly checks now), but perhaps I was not really serious then and I didn't have the motivation I have now (I have to put my son, previously two, through college on my pension).

To succeed with Kontera ContentLink™ is very easy. All you need to do is to apply for an account with the URL or URLs of the site or sites you intent to implement KontentLink. Once approved, sign in, get your script, and paste them just before the <> body <> tag in the template. This would normally be at the bottom of the template, the second last line just before the last line <> /html<> and save. Your ContentLink™ will be implemented within minutes.

Kontera's algorithms will identify the most relevant keywords in the content of your site, changed it into a link and display a relevant "pop-up" or tool-tip when a visitor hover over the link as shown in the screenshot below:

The advantage of Kontera ContentLink™ over Google AdSense is that ContentLink™ are in-text ads, that is, ads where the visitors attention are concentrated. If you are using a blog, it is more difficult to incorporated AdSense ads within the content, but is possible. See Incorporate AdSense ads in your New Blogger posts and wrap the text around it. But it is not exactly the same as Kontera ContentLink™. However, these Google Ads are fixed at a particular spot on the page while Kontera ContentLink™ ads ("pop-up" or tool-tip) are spread over the whole of the text.

It is possible to have both Kontera ContentLink™ as well as Google AdSense ads on the same page without violating eithers' program policy. The advantage that Google AdSense have over Kontera ContentLink™ is that they have a larger pool of advertisers and ads to display on your site. However, you can have both and earn from both and have the advantage of both.
